So I see why this is number one of all times whether I agree with it or not doesn't really matter at all or effect the score, which would just be a silly thing to do. Can you imagine rating this a zero just because you don't think it should be the top submission on newgrounds?

The artwork was really good and the animation was smooth. Very complex animations going on here and it's not your everyday flash graphic wise. Very pleasing to the eyes and it is very professional looking. So yeah, obviously no complaints over the visuals in this submission at all.

Now the story itself.. I did find quite boring, but to me that's a personal opinion and I can't just see where it deserves to be marked down because I had a different opinion. So yeah, the way the story was set up I didn't like, but you did set it up to make a pretty cool series out of it and I can envision this going quite far.

The voices, sound effects, and all other type of audio was done quite nicely. What really sticks out is how nicely the animation flows with the audio track. I think it's easy to say that the audio really adds to this submission.

Overall, even though I don't quite think it should be the top submission and that the story was a tad bit boring at times (I guess I expected a lot of humor for some reason) The submission was done extremely well and I can see why it was this well received. Good job and good luck on your work with Tarboy 2!

FroNick Productions - Great Videos For Free

Was this something that people had only an hour to work something up or something? If so not too bad, but it has a lot of room for improvement.

Instead of just random scenes I think they should have followed a common theme. That would have been much better. Perhaps if the scenes were longer than the short loop they were then they could have been more random.

If your going to have the scenes start over then they should all loop well in my opinion. Some did loop well and you couldn't tell that it was looping at all, it just looked like it continued. Some though seemed choppy where they ended and started back from the beginning again.

The art work really needs to be worked on in my opinion. A lot were poorly done. I'm not saying I could do any better since I can't, but it seemed like people really didn't try to make this look well graphically. Some were done rather well though and the animation was pretty smooth.

The audio that was chosen seemed fitting. Everything else such as sound effects were well synced and clear also.

Overall - I guess this just seems like it's really lacking and that it had more potential then the effort that was put into it. Perhaps a common theme, longer clips, better looping, and better art work would have changed my opinion on the submission.

A lot of potential in such a short random piece. I can really see this being used in a full production of a song. This is a great piece of quality and potential in such a short submission. It would go great as introduction to a flash, introduction to a full song, with the generic fighting scene in flash, and probably has potential for vocals/lyrics to be added to it if it was a full production.

Overall - Great job and it has lots of potential. Keep up the good work and hope to hear more.
